About the Position

This is a fully remote position (feel free to stop by our office in Orange County, CA - we tend to have a lot of fun on Fridays). We are a company that provides both Dev and Tech/IT. Our Tech (IT) focuses primarily on servicing southern California while our web development services span the entire United States.

We are a looking for an experienced back-end focused Web Developer (PHP with a lot of Laravel); a foundational understanding of front-end is a bonus.

You may fit right in here if these sort of projects excite you:

• A custom ERP built with Laravel and Vue
• A quickly growing list of TALL stack projects
• Migrating legacy PHP projects over to Laravel
• A data engine serving as the intermediary resource for a bunch of disparate data sources
• An LMS start-up being pushed towards MVP with the Laravel ecosystem (Nova / Jetstream / Spark) and leveraging the innovative Laravel Livewire package
• A slew of API work - both building and consuming

Some of our expectations to consider:

• Multiple years server-side experience (Laravel)
• An overall creative approach to problem solving
• A passion for code readability
• Very comfortable with TDD / integration & regression testing
• Git workflows are not a problem for you
• Enjoy working within the Laravel ecosystem
• Front-end competence is a plus
• Proficient in English
